  • Avoid Using Chopping Boards Directly on Marble - Etching is quite a common problem with marble worktops and it leaves permanent marks on the surface. If seen at certain angle, these appear like cracks or burns. To avoid that, you always need to use chopping boards while cutting veggies and fruits. Apart from that, you also must install padded mats or jute pads under hot utensils at the time of placing it on marble worktops.
